When Irish Eyes Are Smiling is a romantic comedy full of Irish music and dance. When Elaine graduates from college, her pushy New York family expect her to join the family business and marry the man of their choice. But she sneaks off to Ireland to look up long-lost relatives and has the time of her life! Her Irish relatives are played by the same actors as her New York family, but these people would much rather sing and dance than tell her what to do. The complication comes when her New York family starts showing up in Ireland, making for some hilarious mix-ups and crazy quick changes. It’s no sure thing that Elaine’s families will ever get along with each other, or even “themselves”!
