Americans Tommy and Jeff are hiking the highlands of Scotland when they become lost in a strange fog. When the sun comes up, they descend into a legendary Scottish village that hasn’t been seen for centuries. They are welcomed by the townsfolk, but obviously the people there are being close-lipped about a strange mystery the Americans must unravel. While searching for answers, Tommy and Jeff meet a pair of enchanting Scottish lasses, Fiona and Meg, who seem to be perfect matches for them. At the end of the day when the truth becomes apparent, is it possible one of the Americans might try to stay in this enticing hamlet and see what happens when the mysterious fog surrounds it once again?
- Gals: There are main roles for Fiona, Meg, Jeannie, Maggie, and Jane, plus supporting roles for all ages.
- Guys: Main roles for Tommy, Jeff, Charlie, Harry, and Mr. Lundie, as well as about half-a-dozen supporting roles.
- Teens: The roles of Jeannie, Maggie, and possibly Meg could be played by an actress age 15 and up. The roles of Charlie and Harry could possibly be played by actors 15 and up as well.
- Kids: Yes! We need kids age 8-and-up to be in all 7 large-group scenes, plus they are featured in their own dance at a Scottish wedding.
- Chorus: The town of Brigadoon is one of the stars! This village never misses a chance to sing, dance, share a laugh, or a moment of tense drama. They charm and enchant their American guests, as well as their real audience, and at the end of the show neither the Americans nor the audience want to say goodbye to them! And they have gorgeous choral music throughout the show.

Once and Future Classics performs two musicals a year, typically the first three weekends in May and the first three weekends in December.
Auditions for the shows are in early March and early October. Details are typically announced on Facebook first.
